1. it was hard to find. I got lost a few times
2. it was a pretty park with a nice lake and fountains.. but it was next to a rest stop/gas station with big rig trucks in the background.
The parking lot is next to the park and is quite vi sable from the park. We'd have to set it up so that the ceremony was set up not facing the parking lot
I don't know ... that was a big turn off.
I mean who wants to get married next to a truck stop?

Also: So one of the venues I looked at has a strict liquor policy. Either it has to be from a licensed liquor caterer or you have to have your own insurance to cover it.
So I called my mom to ask her to call two places to see about costs, and she doesn't want to call them.. Even though yesterday when I was telling her about the liquor policy she was upset that I didn't know the exact costs right that second.
So I said well you wanted to know yesterday and i don't know if I'll have time today. So she said - well we have all year to figure it out.. What? What if the licensed caterers cost an arm and a leg?
Wouldn't that be a factor in whether or not to choose the place..
I swear my mom is hopeless.I need some help. I can't do this all by myself.
